Hi,

just read it here:

"a persistent wave store and search implementation for the server (building
on contributed patches to implement a MongoDB store)"

Restrictions on using the terms "Mongo" or "MongoDB" in a commercial context

What are the rules for using the terms "Mongo" or "MongoDB" in a
commercial environment:

 - either used for an application or a service
 - as part of a domain

Does 10gen have a statement on trademarks, copyrights, usage of logos
etc.?

I know boring stuff...but as director of the Zope Foundation and member
of the Plone foundation I know that there should be some official
statements on such issues in the context of commercial apps and services
around MongoDB.

proposed new "Components" for core server in jira.mongodb.org
Hi,

Can we add the following components to jira:

Windows Service
Installer Package

Also, can someone with proper access reassign my reported bugs to "Windows
Service" where appropriate.

Remove "User", "Group" and "ScoreBoardFile" from mpmt_os2
I want to remove "User", "Group" and "ScoreBoardFile" from the OS2 MPM.

The directives have an empty implementation ignore_cmd() and have only
been introduced for consistency with those MPMS which did support it.

In trunk "User" and "Group" are no longer MPM directives, they moved to
mod_unixd, and "ScoreBoardFile" is implemented in the core though only
functional if APR_HAS_SHARED_MEMORY.

The removal from the OS2 MPM will break existing configurations (syntax
error) which use "User" or "Group" including the old 2.2 default
configuration (but not the most recent trunk default configuration).
Though this is annoying, tolerating non-functional directives which are
supposed to be security relevant isn't nice as well.

Opinions?

Regards,

Rainer

test-plan-template.jmx

Here’s the test plan. ‘XXXX’ means I can replace it with the proper
value.
In Response Assertion, besides checking for code 200, can you please show
a
general way to verify a page return besides code 200?

Re: s="false" lb="HTTP Request HTTPClient" rc="200" in the generated j
Hi Tom,
I think you'r refering to the 's' field in there.

That represents the "status" of your http sample - weather it was a PASS
or
FAIL. The http sample might fail because of several reasons: once of them
being assertion failure.
if http sample passes --> s= true else s=false

Hope this helps.

Exception raised: {"error":"error","reason":"eacces"} on Win
I installed from
http://wiki.apache.org/couchdb/Windows_binary_installer file
setup-couchdb-0.11.0.exe dated May 11, 2010

When I run (from Chrome since it hangs in IE)
http://127.0.0.1:5984/_utils/couch_te...pt/couch_tests.js
status is "Success" until from "batch_save" and all subsequent items
result in error with
message Exception raised: {"error":"error","reason":"eacces"}

Has anyone run into this situation, and found the cause and a solution?

DO NOT REPLY Http headers with an underscore "_" change into hyphen "-"
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=38895

--- Comment #5 from Joachim Wagner <jwa### @computing.dcu.ie>

General comment (without knowing tomcat): HTTP RFC 2616 defines HTTP header
field names as case-insensitive. Existing applications will break if
suddenly
the raw headers are used and the problems may not surface in testing as
your
test client probably uses the same casing as your server app.

http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec4.html#sec4.2

My best guess why underscores are converted to hyphens by tomcat is that
apache
httpd converts in the other direction (in order to generate valid
environment
variable names for CGI programs).

Patch for "Add an "Expire" parameter to the User type reference"
I've attached a patch for a possible fix to
http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/2224 (among other similar
tickets). It's my first attempt at modifying an existing provider and
adding a new feature so before I start looking at specs for it I'd
appreciate a once over by experienced eyes.

Thanks,

Remove the outdated content about "frameworks subdirectory" in "getstartderby"
Hi, all. I think there is some outdated content about "frameworks
subdirectory" in "getstartderby"[1.] for the latest release 10.6.1.0.

In Page 12 in Chapter "Installing Derby", it says,
"
Extract the downloaded package. The extracted installation contains
several
subdirectories:
......

• The frameworks subdirectory contains older scripts for executing
utilities and setting
up the environment. These are provided in this release for backward
compatibility.
These scripts are deprecated in favor of the scripts in the bin
directory, and will be
removed in a future release.
"

However, for the newest release, after extracting the downloaded
package, there is not the frameworks subdirectory. It seems it has
been removed in some earlier release. Is this right? If so, maybe it's
better to remove it, and I would love to do this.

Wish for reply. Thanks!

Regards
Yun

Re: Generated code with minOccurs="0" and nillable="true" contains JAXBElement
After some further research, it seems like this is not an issue.

Per XSD defaults, minOccurs and maxOccurs are defaulted to 1 if they are
not
shown.
