Re: Time between releases By: Vincent Tencé Hi guys, Sorry for jumping in the conversation like this. I have
about the upcoming release. First of all, I'm a brand new user in the
middle of migrating one of my Maven projects to Buildr. So far I'm
loving it, maybe because I like ruby so much…

Re: Time between releases By: Russ Teabeault I was going to take a look at using RVM as well. It should be
possible to run the tests for each supported ruby by using 'rvm exec'.
You could do something like rvm 1.9.2-p320,1.8.7-p358,jruby-1.6.7
exec rake spec I would be happy to explore…

Re: Time between releases By: Peter Donald Hi, So I have done a little bit of work over the weekend to get
Buildr built and passing all tests on OSX/Linux and ruby versions
1.9.2-p320, jruby-1.6.7 and 1.8.7-p358. So the only things I need to
do for a release is make sure I can rsync…

Time between releases By: Russ Teabeault I thought I had already sent this to the dev group but I don't see it
in the archives. So here it goes: I really like buildr and the
sanity it has brought from using it to replace maven. I would like to
see it grow and prosper. One complaint I…

Test task dependency will always be invoked By: Dominic Graefen Hey guys, I am currently implementing a custom test-framework for
one of my buildr-plugins. I enhance the test-task with a task that
automatically generates test-suites prior to running them. Something
like this: def initialize(test_task,…

Re: Releasing 1.4.7 -- was: Buildr 1.4.7 RC1 By: Alex Boisvert Yes, sounds good. My "availability window" closed shortly after I
volunteered and I didn't get past getting a proper environment to get
100% specs passing on my machine on both Ruby + JRuby. alex On Tue,

Re: Releasing 1.4.7 -- was: Buildr 1.4.7 RC1 By: Antoine Toulme I'm willing to give an other shot at a release, but I certainly don't
want to interrupt if you are on it Alex. Ideally, if I engage myself
to do the next release, I'll push a RC in the next 3 days, and if that
doesn't happen, the release task is…

JRuby specific system in core/util.rb By: Pepijn Van Eeckhoudt Does anyone remember why the jruby specific system workaround using
FFI was done in core/util.rb? This has the annoying side effect on
windows of bringing up a new console window for the subprocess
everytime it is run. Seems to work fine with…

JMock in java/tests.rb By: Pepijn Van Eeckhoudt The JUnit and TestNG support automatically pull in JMock without an
option to disable this. Any idea why this is done? It seems rather
arbitrary to pull in one specific testing library. This is causing
problems in my builds because jmock pulls…

Experiences with transitive dependencies in buildr By: Peter Tillotson About a year ago I started using buildr. I needed to move from Ant,

frustrating I thought I'd share my experiences of using buildr and my
recommendations. But first why not…
